Blank Wall Gallery

Back in January 2025, I took a leap of faith and submitted my work to the Blank Wall Gallery in Athens Greece. The theme was Abandoned Buildings- a subject that has always fascinated me. There is such undeniable beauty in abandoned places: the story it tells, the peeling paint, broken windows and the quiet stillness. What the world sees as forgotten, I see as filled with history, character and grace.
Fast foward to March, I got the email that I was accepted. Me. My work, chosen to be displayed in Athens. I can't even explain the flood of emotions that hit me in that moment. For so long, Ive betted with doubts about my abilities. Ive told myself I am not as good as others, that maybe my work doesn't measure up. But being accepted into such a well respected gallery made me realize something.
i am capable. i am worthy.
I am doing the very thing that God called me to do. This wasn't just about photography being hung on the walls across the ocean. It was about the reminder that the talent God has placed in me is real, and it has the power to open doors for this opportunity- it's all Him. Every click of the shutter, every image that tells a story, is a reflection of the gift that he gave me.
Im beyond grateful- not only for the honor of being apart of the Blank Wall Gallery, but also for the encouragement it has given me to keep going. It made me feel better than I actually am, reminding me that God sees more in me that I sometimes see in myself,
